Yemen to attend 7th meeting of Arab Education Ministers

SANA'A, Mar. 06 (Saba) -
Yemen is to participate in the 7th meeting of Arab Education Ministers that takes
place in
the Omani capital of Muscat on 7-8 March.
Upon departure, head of the Yemeni delegation to the meeting Minister of Education
Abdul Salam al-Jawfi said Yemen will present, at the meeting, a paper on challenges
facing
the educational process and the development of post-primary education programs and
strategy approved by the government for 2008-2015.
The meeting will focus on secondary education, how to develop it and face its
problems as well as the future horizons of education in the Arab World, the
minister said.
During the meeting, proposals are expected be put forward for the development of
secondary education in Arab states as well, he concluded.
