Government to absorb youth jobless through replacements

SANA'A, Mar. 06 (Saba) - The
government has plans to employ as many graduates as possible at a time when it
exerts
major efforts to reduce the youth unemployment rate. Minister of Civil Service Yahya
Al-Shuaibi said in an interview with the mouthpiece of the ruling party Al-Mithaq
newspaper
that the government had approved replacements for vacant posts due to retirement,
resignations and dismissals at local government facilities. In this regard, the
Civil Service
Ministry has set up a mechanism to ensure good employment process, he said.
Vacancies will be specified in every governorate, the minister said, adding that the
ministry's
offices across the republic have started receiving applications as from this month.
This year, the government approved about 11589 posts subject to comparison. FR
