Iran condemns terrorist attack on pilgrims bus in Iraq
Tehran, March 6, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mihman-Parast condemned a terrorist attack on a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims in Iraq’s holy city of Najaf on Saturday.
Mihman-Parast referred to the attack as “a move against humanity” and a “crime.”
He warned Iranians to avoid making personal visits to Iraq out of legal channels that are in charge of providing security of the Iranian pilgrims in that country.
The terrorist attack took place when a car bomb exploded near a bus for Iranian pilgrims in the holy city Saturday morning.
The attack killed at least one Iranian leaving 17 others with minor injuries while another Iranian pilgrim is reported to be in critical condition./end
