AZERBAIJANI DEFENSE MINISTER MEETS NATO SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE
Baku, 28 June, (AzerTAj) - Defense Minister Safar Abiyev met Friday with NATO`s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Minister noted Azerbaijan implements all programs in a timely manner. Successful work to bring Azerbaijani army in line with NATO standards has expanded relations with Euroatlantic Alliance.
Simmons said he hopes Azerbaijan-NATO relationship will continue to develop in the
future. He pointed out Azerbaijan had successfully fulfilled the first phase of the
NATO IPAP, and is going to achieve successful results in fulfilling the second
phase.
