PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECIEVES FILA PRESIDENT
Baku, 28 June, (AzerTAj) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Friday Raphael Martinetti, president of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA).
Mr. Martinetti said Azerbaijan has a great wrestling tradition adding that there are strong wrestlers in the country.
He also praised Baku`s hosting international Grand Prix tournament.
President Aliyev, in turn, emphasized importance of the Baku international Grand
Prix tournament.
The Head of State underlined that Azerbaijan`s hosting such events serves expanding
its international cooperation in sports.
