President lauds services, sacrifices of Pakistan Army in eradicating terrorism
Rawalpindi, June 27 PPI: President Pervez Musharraf lauded services and sacrifices rendered by Pakistan Army in eradication of terrorism and extremism.
He was talking to Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaque Pervez Kiyani who called on
him Friday in Rawalpindi. He briefed President on Army's role in combating scourge
of terrorism, extremism in Federally Administered Tribal Areas FATA. He also briefed
on security situation along Pak-Afghan border and FATA.
President Musharraf said Pakistan Army has achieved great successes in eradication
of terrorism. He said while multi-pronged approach was needed to wean away people
from extremism, terrorists must be combated with full force and all available resources.
