Deputy Premier meets US, British officials

SANA'A, March 03 (Saba) - Deputy Prime
Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Rashad al-Alimi met here on Wednesday with
the
US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Middle East Jeffrey Feltman.
During the meeting, al-Alimi and Feltman discussed topics related to cooperation
aspects of development, economic and security as well as bilateral relationship
between
the two countries.
Alimi praised voiced the Yemeni appreciation of the U.S. support in such areas.
For his part, the U.S. official renewed the American supportive position to Yemen's
unity and stability, and its commitment to continue to support Yemen under the
group
of Yemen's friends scheduled to be convened late March.
On the other hand, Deputy Premier al-Alimi held another meeting with the officer of
the Middle East and Yemeni-British relations in the British foreign Ministry
Michael
Aaron.
The meeting reviewed several issues of bilateral cooperation between the two
countries.
Al-Alimi praised the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, expressing
his appreciation of the British government support to Yemen in various areas.
British official confirmed the continuation of the bilateral cooperation relations
between the two friendly countries in various fields.
