Iran fully supports IDB: Minister
Tehran, March 3, IRNA – The economic affairs and finance minister said here on Wednesday that Iran renders full support for all activities of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
Shamseddin Hosseini made the remarks in his meeting with President of IDB Ahmed Mohamed Ali and said Iran follows the Islamic banking rules.
Meanwhile, the IDB president said Iran will play a positive role in making link between the two countries of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan when the railroad project between these states is implemented.
He added it connects Iran to the Central Asian countries as well as the Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea littoral states.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the largest IDB stockholders./end
