US' issuance of counterfeit $29,000b, biggest theft

Tehran, March 3, IRNA, -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called the issuance of 29,000b counterfeit dollars by US Federal Reserve, the biggest theft in the history of mankind.

The president was speaking to the industry ministers of D8 Group in Tehran on Tuesday.

According to the Presidential Office Website, Ahmadinejad said D8 member states possess many potentials and can get rid of the hegemony of big powers by unity and cooperation.

President Ahmadinejad said the world economic crisis was not merely an economic defeat rather it was the defeat of capitalism and the hegemonic powers.

The president said capitalism is actually looting the world nations in favor of a few countries.

He added the fact that US has 14,000 billion dollars budget deficit and has issued over 29,000 billion counterfeit dollars during the past 30 years and has bought goods with it, is the biggest theft in the history of human kind.

President Ahmadinejad said D8 Group member states have many potentials and if they stand united, they won't need others.

He advised the Group to separate their economic interactions from the dominant currency and urged the member states to seek the mechanism for it./end
