9 killed, 15 injured in Taiz residential complex blast

TAIZ, Mar. 02 (Saba) - At
least 9 people were killed and 15 others were injured in a blast, suspected to be
a dynamite
blast, at a residential complex in western Yemen, media outlets reported on Tuesday.
The blast took place at 6:00 am inside a store of one of the residential complexes
in
Almasbah district destroying the four-storey building and other adjacent buildings
and causing other big material losses, according to the website. Police confirmed
there
were nine people dead and about 15 injured who were rushed to hospital. The number
of victims was likely to increase as rescuers are continuing the search for other
bodies
or survivors. The cause of the blast is still unclear. FR
