Yemen to partake in Arab Foreign Ministers Meeting

SANA'A, March 02 (Saba) - Yemen
is to participate in the 144th regular meeting of the League of Arab States Council
at
the level of Foreign Ministers which begins later today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Upon departure for the meeting, Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi said he will
display the outcomes of the committee in charge of studying a Yemeni initiative to
activate
Arab common work according to the decisions of the 21st Arab summit held in Qatar.
The meeting will discuss several topics topped by the situation in Palestine and
the efforts to heal the Palestinian rift.
Moreover, the meeting will deal with the issues of Arab security, global terror and
how to combat it as well as the latest developments in Somalia, he said.
Al-Qirbi will also take part in the emergency meeting of the Arab Peace Initiative
Follow-up Committee to discuss the current situation in Palestine as Israel
continues
its arrogance attacking the Palestinian people, and holy lands seeking to include
them in the Jewish heritage.
