Iran has brought unity among various faiths: Iranian-Armenian MP
TEHRAN, March 2 (MNA) -- Robert Beglarian, the MP representing Iranian-Armenian community in southern Iran, said the Islamic Republic of Iran is the source of unity among various divine faiths.
“We have always observed that Islamic Republic has made efforts to bring for unity among various faiths (and religious schools) especially among Muslims over the past three decades,” Beglarian said.
Naturally, some hegemonic powers try to weaken Muslim unity, because this unity jeopardizes their interests, he said.
Beglarian went on to say that the global arrogance seeks to fan conflicts between Shia and Sunni Muslims to damage the Muslims unity.
All social and cultural organizations and figures such as Education Ministry, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and prayer leaders should help strengthen unity among Muslims, the lawmaker added.
