Yemen, Germany discuss developments in Palestinian arena

SANA'A, March 01 (Saba) -
Yemen and Germany discussed here on Monday the latest developments in the
Palestinian arena.
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi held talks with German Ambassador to Yemen
Michael Klor-Berchtold on the importance of the Arab peace initiative to but an end
to the
suffering of the Palestinian people.
The talks dealt with the aspects of reinforcing cooperation relations between the
two countries.
Yemeni Parliament and Shura Council have condemned a decision of the Zionist entity
to include the Ibrahimi Mosque and Bilal Ben Rabah Mosque on the list of Israeli
archaeological
sites.
They considered such move as a beginning for further dangerous crimes targeting the
holy sites in Palestine, including al-Aqsa mosque that subjects daily for Zionist
aggressions.
They also called the Arab and Islamic regimes, their parliaments and governments,
the Organization of Islamic Conference and the Arab League to take an honorable
position
to protect the Islamic holy places.
Last week, the Zionist entity has decided to designate the two Islamic mosques in
West Bank to the list of so-called "places of Jewish heritage".
