Oil minister: Promising gas explorations in offshore blocks

(Saba)-Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir al-Aidaros revealed on Monday information
about promising
gas explorations in offshore blocks No. 22 and 55 of Red Sea.
Replaying on questions of Shoura Council members over a report of oil and gas
production, al-Aidaros added there are big oil companies have desire to explore oil
in the
country.
He said that the ministry would open a big oil training institute in Marib province
soon to qualify youths of the province in field of petroleum industries.
Al-Aidaros made it clear that the ministry would finalize soon a draft law related
Safar oil company to be sent then to the parliament.
The Shoura council asked the ministry to build a developed structure to operate the
oil sector and use best technologies in operation of exploring oil and gas.
