MONGOLIA, LAOS ENHANCE COOPERATION IN AGRICULTURAL SCIENTIFIC SECTOR

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A protocol was signed between the Agricultural University of Mongolia, the National University of Laos and the Xiangkhoang region on cooperation in agricultural scientific and manufacturing sectors.
The document was inked during a visit of Mongolian delegation headed by Rector of the Agricultural University, Prof
B.Byambaa to Laos February 23-27. The Mongolian representatives were received by Lao Education Minister, Agricultural and Forest Minister and rector of the Lao National University. Furthermore, they visited an agricultural vocational technical training school and a sheep farming that was established at the assistance of Mongolia.
According to the protocol, visiting teachers from the Mongolian Agricultural University will work in the Lao agricultural vocational technical training school, while Lao professionals will be involved in short-term training sessions in Mongolia. A cooperate will also boost in improving cattle and sheep breeding, supplying livestock drugs, vaccines and carrying out joint agricultural scientific research works.
