Iran sympathizes with Chilean nation
Tehran, March 1, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman extended condolences to the Chilean nation and government over the massive earthquake in the country that killed more than 300, it is reported on Monday.
Ramin Mihman-Parast also expressed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s readiness to dispatch humanitarian aid to the injured and quake-stricken people in that country.
A severe earthquake measuring 8.8 on the Richter scale rocked the vicinity of Concepcion city near the center of Chile early on Saturday at 06:34 GMT.
The earthquake claimed heavy damages and killed over 300 Chilean people./end
