Gul to visit Yemen in soon: Turkish official

SANA'A, Feb. 28 (Saba) - The Turkish
President and Foreign Minister will visit Yemen in the near future, the Turkish
President's
envoy and Assistant Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for Middle East Affairs said
Sunday.

Upon his departure Sana'a after a state visit to the country, he affirmed that the
visit aims to enhance the bilateral relations with Yemen in various fields.
The Turkish official has handed over President Ali Abdullah Saleh a letter from the
Turkish President Abdullah Gul, dealing with the brotherly relations and areas of
the
joint cooperation between the two countries.
The Turkish official described his visit to Yemen as successful, saying that he
found, during his visit to the Turkish department in Sana'a University and the old
city of
Sana'a, a common denominator in the two countries' histories.
