Emergency state declared in Dhale

DHALE, Feb.27 (Saba) - Emergency state started on
Saturday in Dhale city of Yemen's southern province of Dhale after governor Ali
Qassem
Talib convened an emergency meeting with the local authority and the security
committee on Friday.

The move comes as a precautionary measure to thwart possible violence by outlaws
and destructive elements, a source at the local government has said.
The decision to start emergency state in the city as from 5:00 am today was aimed
at making sure that the people would not be attacked and preserving security and
peace
after reports on possible infiltration of separatists and outlaws into the city to
carry out attacks and disturb the public security, the source said.
Under the decision, main and sub-entries of the city must be closed unauthorized
demonstrations must not be organized. It also called on officials to pay filed
visits to
follow up the situation closely.
