Parliament condemns Zionist aggression on Islamic shrines
SANA'A, Feb.27 (Saba) -
The Parliament strongly condemned in a statement on Saturday the flagrant Zionist
aggression
against the shrines of the Islamic and Arab nation, in particular al-Haram
al-Ibrahimi and Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in Hebron in the occupied Palestine.
By this move, Israel challenged Arabs and Muslims all over the world, paying no
attention to the resolutions of the international legitimacy, the statement noted.
The Yemeni parliament considered this decision a dangerous crime added to the
criminal record of the Zionist entity, in addition to the suffocating siege imposed
by the
Zionist authorities against the Palestinian people, which coincided with the 16th
anniversary of the massacre of al-Haram al-Ibrahimi.
The parliament called upon the Arab and Islamic regimes, their parliaments and
governments, the Organization of Islamic Conference and the League of Arab States
to take
an honorable position to protect the Islamic holy places.
It also calls on Arab and Islamic peoples to express all legitimate means for the
position of rejecting and angry to violate sanctities and the rape of the
Palestinian territory.
Last week, the Zionist authorities decided to designate the two Islamic mosques in
West Bank to the list of so-called "places of Jewish heritage".
