Iran, Bulgaria to boost economic ties

VIENNA, Feb. 27 (MNA) – The 17th meeting of Iran-Bulgaria joint economic commission kicked off in Sofia on Thursday.

Speaking at the first day of the meeting, Iranian Minister of Road and Transportation Hamid Behbahani and his Bulgarian counterpart Alexander Tsvetkov called for fostering bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The two sides also signed two memorandums of understanding on tourism and economy during the second day of meeting.

Behbahani stressed that the two countries should deepen bilateral relations.

The Bulgarian minister also stressing the importance of expansion of Tehran-Sofia ties, called for further economic cooperation between the two countries.

The next meeting of Iran-Bulgaria joint economic commission will be held in Tehran next year.
