Views of bullying states, not deemed views of world community:Qashqavi

Tokyo, Feb 27, IRNA – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for parliamentarian affairs Hassan Qashqavi said Saturday that the views of certain bullying states cannot be considered the views of the entire world community.
“World states have never been polled about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program,” Qashqavi told IRNA in Tokyo where he is visiting as member of a high-ranking delegation chaired by Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani.
“Members of the Non-Aligned Movement have recently reiterated their support for Iran’s stand on its nuclear issue,” Qashqavi said.
In the next meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency which is to be held within the next few days, the Egyptian ambassador is to read a statement about Iran’s nuclear activities on behalf of the 100 members of NAM.
The statement is to be recorded as one of the IAEA’s documents.
Qashqavi said if the European and American citizens had the chance to be informed of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities free from negative propaganda of the Western media, then they would definitely support Tehran’s nuclear program in their polls.
“What is today introduced as the international community is indeed a bullying policy and an example of neglecting one of the principles of the human rights which is the principle of development and making technological development is the absolute right of every nation,” Qashqavi stressed.
He added there are certain states that could not tolerate Iran’s technological progress and development./end
