President: Iran-Syria to lift visa requirement this week
Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Friday that Iran and Syria will lift visas requirement for their nationals as of this week.
Talking to reporters upon arrival in Tehran after a two-day visit to Syria, President Ahmadinejad said the visa issuance lifting project, that an agreement to that effect has newly been signed, will serve as a positive ground for promotion of mutual cooperation .
He said that in the field of politics, Iran, Syria and the Islamic Resistance will under any condition be prepared to solve political problems.
He hoped that enemies of regional nations will change their strategies in favor of cooperation./end
