Official source sheds light on activities of deviant groups

Jeddah, June 26, SPA -- An official source at the interior ministry
said the security organs, while performing their duty in response to
the security developments, caused by the regional and international
circumstances, since the beginning of 1429, have carried out a number
of security operations against the deviant groups who have been
working for the service of the country's enemies targeting the
country's principles, security, economy and way of life.

Within the frame of these operations the security men have arrested
about 701 persons of different nationalities. 520 have continued to
be detained for their relations with the activities of the deviant
groups, while 181 have been released.

These operations, with the grace of Allah Almighty, have enabled our
country and society to avoid so many evils.

Investigations and security procedures have shown that the trends of
the deviant groups have included the following:
Firstly: they have been working through planning and recruitment to
revive the criminal activities in all regions of the Kingdom so as to
make the internal security situation in the Kingdom similar to the
security case in the unstable regions, because these deviant groups
cannot work in the stable societies. That has been clear from the
confiscation of several documents which were with them, including the
research which they called 'management of savageness". This research
discloses their dreams and spiteful vision.

Secondly: making money available by all means even through theft and
misleading so as to support their terror activities inside and
outside the country.
