Yemeni-Bahraini summit focuses on cooperation relations

MANAMA, Feb. 24 (Saba) - The
Yemeni-Bahraini summit held in Manama, the Bahraini capital, on Wednesday focused on
the
bilateral cooperation relations in various areas.
In the summit, President Ali Abdullah Saleh and King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of
Bahrain also reviewed the last developments in the Arab, regional and international
arenas
that concern the two brotherly countries.
President Saleh hailed the Bahraini attitudes towards Yemen supporting its
security, stability and unity, in addition to its care to the Yemeni community in
Bahrain.
Moreover, Saleh valued Bahrain's support to Yemen in the Gulf Cooperation Council
and all other events, asserting the keenness of Yemen to advance the bilateral
cooperation
with Bahrain.
King Hamad reiterated that Bahrain stands by Yemen and support the government's
effort to maintain Yemen's security, stability and unity.
He also affirmed that Bahrain is keen to develop its ties with Yemen in different
fields, highlighting the effectual role of the Yemeni community in Bahrain.
