Japan affirms its support to Yemen in developmental, security areas

SANA'A, Feb.22
(Saba) - Director General of the Country Assistance to Middle East and Africa in the
Japanese
Foreign Ministry affirmed on Monday Japan's keenness to support Yemen to face the
developmental and security challenges and to combat terrorism.
This came during a meeting gathered here Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and
Security Affairs Rahsad al-Alimi and the Japanese official.
The Japanese official confirmed also his country's attention to develop horizons of
the future relations with Yemen, especially with regard to supporting the
coastguard
forces.
Al-Alimi praised the Japanese government's support that contributed to promoting
the bilateral relations and strengthening the bilateral cooperation between the two
friendly
courtiers in the various developmental, economic and security areas.
