YEMEN TO SIGN ACCORDS WITH KSA AND AFESD TO FUND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
SANA'A, Feb. 23 (Saba)-Yemen would sign several agreements with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) at sum of $ 190 million in coming days, an official at the ministry of Planning and International Cooperation said Tuesday.
Nabil Shiban, Director of the Coordination Units of Foreign Assistance at the ministry told Saba that the 19th Yemeni-Saudi Coordination Council would concluded by signing certain agreements with Saudi Arabia.
The 19th meeting would be held next Saturday in Riyadh capital and co-chaired by the prime minister of Ali Mujawar and Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, he added.
Shiban also said that the Yemeni side would sign agreements with the Saudi fund for development next April.
He made it clear that AFESD chairman Abdul Latif bin Yusif would visit Yemen next March to inspect projects which are financed by the fund in Yemen in addition to sign two agreement to fund development projects in Yemen.
