YEMENI-SAUDI SUMMIT HELD IN RIYADH OVER MUTUAL COOPERATION



RIYADH, Feb. 23 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh and King of
Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz held a summit on Tuesday in
Riyadh capital of Saudi Arabia.

The summit discussed bilateral relations between Yemen and Saudi
Arabia and horizons of the mutual cooperation between the two
countries in different fields including security and combating
terror.

The two leaders also discussed latest regional and international
developments, especially the situations in Palestine and Somalia.

They confirmed concern of their countries to enhance ties and fields
of mutual cooperation to serve interests of both nations, pointing
out to the importance of the coming meeting for the Yemeni-Saudi
Coordination Council that would be held next week.The two leaders
affirmed importance of the Riyadh conference for partners of Yemen
that would be held in the Saudi capital next Saturday.

President Saleh valued position of the king Abdullah and his kingdom
for supporting security, unity and stability of Yemen as well as
development process.
