Iran’s business delegation in India to explore opportunities

New Delhi, Feb 23, IRNA – India’s premier business body, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) met with a business delegation from Kermanshah province of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in New Delhi.

Led by Dariush Panahi, Foreign Adviser from Commerce Organization of Kermanshah province, a 25-member business delegation is on a visit to India to explore business opportunities.

During the meeting held here Monday, S A Mahdhavi, Second Counsellor (Energy & Economic) from the Embassy of Iran in New Delhi while pointing out the immense potential in the area of mining of iron ore in Iran, invited CII members from the mining industry to consider to invest/establish joint ventures, said a statement issued here by CII.

He also alluded to the huge potential in the tourism sector cooperation between Iran and India.

Meanwhile, Panahi highlighted the sectors represented in the delegation, which included Agriculture, Medical production, Engineering services, Leather goods, Technical & Engineering services, Vegetable oils, Construction equipment amongst others.
