Iran’s oil production in central regions to up 500m M3 per day

Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – Managing Director of Central Regions Oil Company of Iran (CROCI) said here Monday CROCI intends to increase those regions’ daily production up to 500 million cubic meters in 4 years' time.

According to IRNA Economic Desk reporter, Alireza Zeyqami who was speaking at a gathering to familiarize the media representatives with the foundations and general issues related to oil industries said, “This Company’s year on year increased production of crude oil last year was 190%, of gas 83%, and of gas byproducts 94%.”

He said that CROCI’s average daily oil production in current year has been 140.000 barrels, adding, “Our average gas production this year, too, has been 256 million cubic meters per day and we have produced 68.000 barrels per day of gas byproducts.”

Zeyqami added, “This Company is working over 68 oil and gas fields in eleven province of the country, which are to be increased into 89 fields in 19 provinces with the materializing of the 20-Year Perspective Document.”/end
