Rafsanjani: Distinction between pros, cons of system, real
Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – Speaker of the Experts Assembly Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said that the distinction between the opponents and the advocates of the Islamic system and its Constitution is a real one.
Rafsanjani made the remarks while addressing the opening session of the seventh official meeting of the fourth round of Experts Assembly here on Tuesday.
He said the borderline existing between those who seek to confront the Constitution and its columns like the principle of jurisprudence with its advocates was not superficial.
He said all efforts should be aimed at enhancing and promoting unity and proximity in the country.
Rafsanjani said at the present juncture no person other that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution could act as the unifying element for all people.
He believed under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei it would be easier for all to move towards achieving desired objectives./end
