Ahmadinejad: Oppressive powers resorting to nonsensical talk with Iran
Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Monday that the oppressor and capitalist powers have resorted to nonsensical, cheap talk in dealing with the Iranian nation, but they should know that the all Iranians are the guardians of the revolution’s values.
According to the information website of the President’s Office, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the remarks to a gathering of the Islamic Republic Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders.
He further told the officials that no construction scene is out of reach for the revolutionary forces in Iran, adding, “The IRGC engineering officials have thus far played a unique and important role in construction of the Islamic (Republic of) Iran.”
The president reiterated, “One of the important, brave and decisive decisions made during the Islamic Revolution has been the establishment of the (IRGC’s Khatamol Anbia) Construction Headquarters.”
The president cited numerous reasons why he believes that the Construction Headquarters has played a very decisive role in ensuring the continuation of the revolution’s path.
“Transferring the mood of sacred defense and the revolutionary spirit to the management and decision making circles of the country, presenting appropriate models for governing the country particularly at construction field, organizing the pioneer movement and creativity and innovations have been among the most I portent missions accomplished and roles played by the Construction Headquarters during the past years,” he stressed.
“At any field that the country has been in need of rapid and brave actions coupled with innovations the Construction Headquarters has seriously stepped in and shouldered the responsibility competently. There is no doubt that if the Construction Headquarters had not entered the scene of dam construction we would have never achieved the fist grade dam constructor status in the world,” Ahmadinejad reiterated.
The president said, “Today we should introduce Iran as a model and a paradigm to the world and beyond doubt the Construction Headquarters can play an important and unique role in this model.”/end
