Iranian referee invited to 2010 FIBA World Championship
TEHRAN, Feb. 22 (MNA) -- Iranian Heros Avanessian has been invited by the International Basketball Federation to officiate at the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
The 2010 FIBA World Championship will be held from August 28 to September 12, 2010 in Turkey.
Avanessian had previously been invited to Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Iran has been drawn in Group B along with the U.S., Slovenia, Brazil, Croatia and Tunisia.
