Iran's Judiciary will fulfill its normal duties efficiently

TEHRAN, Feb. 22 (MNA) -- Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani has said the Judiciary will fulfill its normal duties efficiently as well as dealing with the issues that followed the June elections.
“The Judiciary alongside the administration and the Majlis will strengthen its resolve to fulfill its duties about solving the legal issues of individuals as well as dealing with the post-election incidents,” the judiciary chief said in a meeting with senior judiciary officials on Sunday.
Larijani called on judiciary officials to be more assiduous in dealing with people’s legal matters.
It seems that at times individuals’ legal cases take longer than expected to resolve and the judiciary should make efforts to resolve this deficiency, he observed.
Commenting on the Bahman 22 (February 11) massive rallies marking the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Larijani said the huge turnout nullified the West’s slogan that there was a rift between the Islamic republic and the people.
He pointed out that the nation once again reaffirmed their commitment to the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader and proved that they will never compromise on the Islamic values and principles.
Larijani said it is a regrettable that the West that turns a blind eye to human rights violations in Guantanamo or a ban on construction of minarets in Europe, yet it accuses other countries of rights violations while they deal with violent rioters.
