CHILD MARCH TO PROTEST RISKS OF EARLY MARRIAGE MONDAY

SANA'A, Feb. 21 (Saba) - The democratic School, the Child Secretariat General, is to organize next Monday a child march in Sana'a to protest the risks of early marriage.

Hundreds of children will walk from Altahrir square to Parliament and hand a letter to MPs urging to pass legislation for fixing the minimum marriage age at 17 years.

The march will start 10:00 am.

The paper to be handed to Parliament is signed by a million people including coordinators and supporters of the school from all provinces.
Parliament has twice discussed the legislation to fix marriage age.
