Yemeni delegation to know of British procurement systems

SANA'A, Feb.21 (Saba) -
Head of the Supreme Authority for Monitoring Tenders Abdul-Malik al-Arashi and
accompanying
delegation headed on Sunday for the UK's capital, London, on an official visit
lasting several days.
Speaking to Saba, al-Arahsi pointed that the delegation would get acquainted during
the visit with a number of presentations relating to the procurement information
systems
which the authority seeks implement them in the different government agencies , the
procurement departments and the tenders committees.
He indicated that during the visit he would meet some officials from the tenders
control authorities in the UK to discuss bilateral cooperation and the possibility
of availing
from them in the field of controlling tenders in order to build a good information
system for the government procurement in Yemen.
