MPs congratulate Supreme Leader on destroyer
Tehran, Feb 21, IRNA – Members of the Majlis extended Sunday a letter of felicitations to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on the launch of Jamaran destroyer.
The home-made destroyer “Jamaran” was launched Friday to show Iran’s defense power in the seas and declare the country as one of the most powerful states in the region.
The destroyer left for open waters on Sunday morning to start its first mission./end
