TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS KILL 59 PEOPLE IN WEEK

SANA'A, Feb. 20 (Saba) - About 266 traffic accidents have claimed the lives of 59 people throughout the country in one week.

According to statistic report issued by the Traffic General Administration to Saba, the accidents wounded about 316, injuries of 186 people were seriously.

The accidents distributed to 154 crash accidents, 78 running over, 28 vehicles' overturning and 6 falling accidents, causing losses estimated to be YR 59.5 million.

The main reasons behind the accidents were excessive speed, drivers' neglect, technical defects, wrong overtaking and others, according to the report.
