Arab Parliament official arrives in Sana'a

SANA'A, Feb. 20 (Saba) - Chairman of the
National Security and Foreign Policy in the Arab Parliament, head of the following
up committee
on the Yemeni initiative to activate Arab common work, Mohammad Abu Hudeib, has
arrived in Sana'a.
Speaking to Saba, Abu Hudeib said that the few-day visit came in reply to the
invitation of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to look closely at the Yemeni initiative
by the
president to the Arab League in order to activate Arab common work.
"The initiative was deeply discussed in the Arab Parliament and we found that it
contained the corner stone to deal with all Arab issues because it focused on
maintaining
the security and sovereignty of each Arab country ,"he said .
The initiative drew support from the Arab Parliament and a committee was formed on it.
The initiative will also be one the agenda of the Council of Arab Foreign
Ministers' meeting to be held ahead of the Arab Summit in Tripoli next month."
