Azeri parliament speaker to visit Tehran
Baku, Feb 20, IRNA – Azerbaijan Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov heading a top parliamentary delegation will pay a 3-day official visit to Tehran from Saturday.
This visit is upon an invitation extended by Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani.
Asadov is scheduled to meet with President Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili during his visit.
He will discuss parliamentary relations as well as ways of cooperation in the field of legislation with his Iranian counterpart.
Azerbaijan Republic parliamentary delegation will also visit Tabriz, capital of East Azerbaijan province, and meet with provincial governor as well as representative of Supreme Leader in the province./end
