Diplomacy, key to resolving Iran's nuclear deadlock: Germany

Berlin, Feb 20, IRNA -- Germany reaffirmed the need for a diplomatic settlement of the impasse over Iran's nuclear program.
Talking at a routine weekly press briefing in Berlin on Friday, government spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm yet again stressed his country's strong support for a negotiated solution of the Iranian nuclear dispute.
"We are pursuing a diplomatic solution together with our partners and allies. Only a diplomatic solution is the way to resolve this," Wilhelm said.
"We continue to reach out our hand out to Iran," he added.
Tehran has repeatedly insisted that its uranium enrichment plants and other facilities are solely aimed at generating peaceful nuclear energy./end
