YEMEN, BAHRAIN OPTIMISTIC ABOUT NEXT RIYADH CONFERENCE RESULTS

SANA'A, Feb.18 (Saba) - The Shura Council's Speaker Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani met here on Thursday with the Bahrain Parliament's Speaker Khalifa Ahmed al-Zahrani and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Yemen.

During the meeting, Abdul-Ghani and al-Zahrani discussed the joint cooperation areas between the two countries as well as the trends of the GCC countries, including Bahrain, to receive the Yemeni labor in their labor markets as a part of their pledges towards the development in Yemen.

The two officials expressed their optimism about the results of the Riyadh conference of the development partners to be held within the few coming days , which would affirm the brotherly countries' obligations to support the development in Yemen on the basis of the strategic integration between Yemen and the GCC states.

In the meeting, Abdul-Ghani briefed al-Zahrani on the developments at the national arena ,confirming Yemen's keenness to go ahead in the dialog path and to enhance the development process and the democracy in the country.

Abdul-Ghani valued the supportive positions of Bahrain to Yemen's unity, security and stability as well as Bahrain's support to the development in Yemen that obviously appeared in the London conference of donors and the last London meeting and the expected support in the coming Riyadh conference.

For his part, the Bahraini official praised the positive developments witnessed by the Yemeni arena, pointing that they reflect the wise political leadership in the country.

Al-Zahrani confirmed Bahrain's full support to security, stability and unity of Yemen.
