Mehrabian: Iran ready to set up cement factory in Belarus
Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA -- Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to set up a cement factory in Belarus.
In a meeting with his Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martinov, he said that the two countries are set to develop bilateral ties, according to the Public Relations Department of the ministry.
Mehrabian maintained that Belarus is one of the main partners of Iran and implementation of different joint projects are currently underway in Belarus.
Referring to the two countries’ capacities in the fields of industry and mine, he described development of ties as beneficial to both sides.
Martinov, for his part, said that the joint projects are of high significance to his country.
Pointing to the capability of the Iranian experts, he said Iran can build a cement factory at low price within 24-30 months./end
