Pak Analyst slams West policy on Iran’s N-program
Islamabad, Feb 18, IRNA – A senior Pakistani journalist, Ansar Abbasi here Wednesday criticized Western policy on Iran's nuclear program terming it as "highly biased".
Talking to IRNA the journalist called upon the Muslim Ummah to unite against the Western hegemony in the world.
The analyst endorsed the statement of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stating that the US accusations about Iranian nuclear program is the most laughable joke.
The President said that Iranian nuclear program is transparent and that the US has made it a pretext for political objectives.
“I fully support and endorse the statement of President Ahmadinejad as I know that Iran’s nuclear program is for peaceful means”, Ansar Abbasi added.
Expressing his views, Abbasi said that Western pressure on Iran’s nuclear program depicts the "discrimination of West towards Muslims countries."
“Crime of Iran is that it is a Muslim country and it is almost impossible for the West to see an Islamic state progressing in the field of nuclear technology”, he said.
The analyst said that Israel is allowed to develop its nuclear program but the West is only pointing a finger on Iran’s nuclear program which is a highly condemnable act.
Abbasi opined that Iran is the victim of Western bias and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other such organizations are the stooges of US.
“Look what West has achieved in Iraq, millions of people had been killed in Iraq in the name of weapons of mass destruction, where are those weapons”, he asked.
He said that position of the Muslim countries is very week right now as unfortunately rulers of many Muslim countries are taking dictations from West.
“Iran is the only country that has been relying upon its own rescores whereas majority of Muslim countries are relying on Western aids”, he said.
“IMF and World Bank are tools of exploitation and we Muslims have become baggers”, he believed.
He said that Iran has been following the policy of self reliance and that is why Iran is progressing in very field.
Ansar Abbasi said that the technological development in Iran cannot be stopped by the imposition of sanctions on Iran and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has rightly said that sanctions will not create trouble for Iran.
The journalist viewed that China and Russia are not supporting the US on political scenario which is very disturbing for the US.
Friction can be seen among US, Russia and China and the notion that Russia and China are the next targets of the US cannot be ruled out”, he said.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said in a press conference that review of the policies of the those present in the region reveals that India, China and Russia are their next targets.
Referring to the economic crisis faced by the western countries, the President also said that they first destroy the economic structures and then take money for their reconstruction./end
