LOCAL RADIO STATIONS TO BROADCAST MOTHERHOOD ISSUES

SANA'A, Feb. 17 (Saba)- Ministries of information and health, and
USAID's project of Health Primary Services singed on Wednesday a
cooperation agreement to produce and broadcast radio awareness
messages on the issues of motherhood and childhood.

The awareness messages include problems and issues of motherhood and
childhood which have been mentioned in the Health Messages Guide
published by the project.

A similar agreement has been singed by the Population Sector at the
Ministry of Public Health Population, USAID's Project of Health
Primary Services and the local radio stations in the Yemeni
provinces to broadcast health awareness messages on motherhood and
childhood issues.

Under the two agreements, the local radio stations are going to
prepare and broadcast 2380 radio messages at a total cost of YR10
million.
