CRIME DECREASES

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The total number of crimes committed in January 2010 has estimated at 1,624 decreasing 129 crimes or 7.4 percent against the same period of the previous year.
However, some types of offences increased such as crime against the right of ownership, crime against social security, crime against child, family and social morality.
It is recorded that 26.8 percent of total offences were committed in dwellings (gers or apartments), 15.7 per cent in streets, 9.1 per cent in establishments, 6.8 per cent in bars/night club/ dancing hall/hotels, 5.7 per cent on livestock pastures, 5.2 per cent in market places, and 30.7 per cent committed in other places.
