Compared with the same period of the previous year, the carried freight inscreased by 226.0 thous.ton or 21.8 percent, and carried passengers by 0.4 thous.persons or 0.2 percent.
In January 2010, 130.7 ton freight and 24.1 thous.passenger (duplicated) were carried by air transport. Compared with the same period of the previous year, carried freight increased by 21.0 ton or 19.1 percent, and carried passengers by 5.6 thous.persons or 30.3 percent.
In January 2010, the total revenue of railway and air transportation reached 23.9 bln.togrogs increasing 4.8 bln.togrogs or 25.2 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
At the end of 2009, the total revenue of the hotels and restaurants sector reached 50.6 bln.togrogs and decreased 3.6 bln.togrogs or 6.6 percent compared with the year of 2008.
