Iran felicitates China on New Year
Beijing, Feb 10, IRNA – Iran’s president congratulated the Chinese government and nation on the start of their New Year.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad extended his congratulations in a message to his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, Wednesday, hoping for further mutual cooperation in the cultural, economic and political fields.
The Chinese New Year begins on February 14.
Iran’s First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi also forwarded a message of felicitation to China’s Prime Minister Wen Jiabao on the occasion.
Rahimi expressed hope the two nations would witness promotion of bilateral relations as well as peace and tranquility./end
