Iranian Embassy in Berlin marks 31st revolutionary anniversary

Berlin, Feb 10, IRNA -- The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Berlin celebrated the 31th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution at a special ceremony on Tuesday.

Hundreds of guests, among them senior German government officials and politicians as well as foreign ambassadors, attended the festivities at the diplomatic mission in Berlin's Dahlem district.

Numerous German industrial and business leaders, political experts and media representatives took also part in the festivities which featured the performance of an Iranian children's choir.

A special video footage highlighted Iran's scientific and economic accomplishments over more than three decades.

Meanwhile, a display of highly valuable Persian carpets and handicrafts caught also the attention of many guests.

Several young Iranian expats, welcoming the guests, also wore beautiful traditional dresses for the festive occasion./end
