INDIAN NATIONAL FOUND DEAD IN DHAKA HOTEL
Dhaka, June 23 (PTI) - An Indian national was found
dead in his hotel room at Kamalapur in central Dhaka.
Police did not suspect any foul play in the death of
63-year-old Paritosh Dutta, a resident of Biddyaswar in
Kolkata who came to Bangladesh on June 6 with a one-month
visa.
Staff of the Hotel Sealand in North Kamalapur found
Dutta's body in sitting position on a sofa Saturday. He was
staying in the hotel since Friday.
Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College morgue
for autopsy where doctors said preliminary examinations
showed signs of cardiac arrest. The medics will, however,
carry out viscera tests for further examination.
Dutta, who was born in Bangladesh, left the country
some 30 years ago. He had stayed at the house of some of his
relatives before putting up in the hotel.
