Right application of subsidy law will boost industrial production

Qazvin, Feb 9, IRNA – Minister of Mines and Industries said here Monday since both mines and industries are influenced by subsidies, and proper implementation of the related law would boost production in both areas.

Ali Akbar Mehrabian made the remarks in an interview with IRNA on the sidelines of a ceremony marking operation of the Emad Semiconductor Company’s production line at Qazvin’s Caspian Industrial Township.

“We need to think of measures aimed at solving the problems of the industrial units at the time that this law would be implemented,” Mehrabian added.

“The country’s industrial units, each of which has a four digit code, are categorized in 140 groups, 23 of which are active in high energy consuming field, and they are the ones in need of special measures, while 117 others that consume regular to low level energy, too, need to be supported,” he reiterated.

Mehrabian added that the Industries Work Group at the President’s Office has prepared a document after ratification of whose details it would be introduced to the people and the industrialists.

Mehrabian emphasized, “If this law and its related documents would be implemented properly we would definitely face no difficulties at industrial field anywhere in the country.”/end
